Subject: RE: Unhappiness in farming posts?

Nash County, NC
In my area, most crops with decent returns are labor intensive. Even with H2A workers, most growers are growing frustrated due to labor. The wage is high. The workers are being workers. It’s impossible for them to do everything the exact way you would do it and it leads to frustrations.

When a guy is faced with $100,000 payroll every week, the stress gets to them.

Additionally in my area, lots of farmers had high above average yields, good prices, and made very little money in 22.

In my area, the margins are getting thin and the room for error is slim, thus leading to lots of stress
