I can't argue the concept, good business plan. But what happens when everyone has solar arrays and has eliminated their electric bill????? Ask yourselves What percentage of your local coop is residential, vs commercial. What happens when 25-50% of your local coops customers are no longer purchasing electricity but still think they need to be connected???
You will pay through the nose for your meter.
There's a lot of mathematically stupid people that do not understand that "net metering" does not work financially for a utility.
