Wawawawa. The local coop here can pound sand with all their stupid fees and charges. It costs me over 50 bucks a month before I even buy once cent of their electricity. I suppose they have to pay for their multi million dollar luxury shop/office and their brand new trucks that they never use because they hire all construction and maintenance out. I'd love to go off grid and never spend another dime with them


And my point is, it'll cost you more as people put up solar panels. Think about it, if they have to buy excess production from you, at the same rate they sell it for, per state law, how will they make money to keep the lines up......

Meter charges..... no SEC to deal with, just get the board to approve it and up it goes. So while you cry about $50 now, wait till the SEC denies a rate increase and they have no choice but to raise your meter rate.
