Cows?..freeze brand......freeze brands don't fall off.
Calves, ear tag to match cow or Record the number on the tag in the calf to number on the cow....record in a note book.........DO NOT LOSE BOOK!!......then......Freeze brand replacements.
If you can build an ear tag with a 100% retention rate....sell the cows and retire a multi millionaire
