NWIA | All my cows are double tagged and are orange tags. They start with the year they had their first calf, so a 2021 heifer would receive a tag 2101, 2102, 2103 and so on. They also have my last name at the bottom of the tag. All my calves get yellow tags and get the last 3 number that its cow has. My bulls main number is the year it is first used, so my bull this year is 21 and has his birth date above the number as well as my last name below. Also they are red colored tags for the bulls, and I also kept their breeders tag in. Also all my bull calves get a tag in their left ear, and all my heifer calves get a tag in their right ear, because girls are always right! | |
