Don't get too greedy imo. It sounds like you have a tremendous opportunity if taken advantage of. I would ask for 2.5x current value, even if forced to pay capital gains you would net 2x value to buy land later. Don't discount the value of a 50 acre lake and possibly the value of the other 25 acres. Someone is going to make this money it might as well be you.
Agree with this. Opportunity is knocking and you have something they need. It's government money paying so they are likely willing to pay stupid money. One place here that was used for highway concrete got 200 yards of concrete from leftover material for free on top ofbthe cash deal. |
