| When using any of the modeling programs, the results are influenced by your assumptions. (Funny how that works!)
If you believe you will die early, then using those inputs will recommend that you claim SS early. If you want to assume that you will live until you are 100, then- big surprise- you will be encouraged to claim later. Also- a lot of financial advisors will suggest that you draw early so that you do not pull from your investments. (Because they might make a % from managing your accounts, or maybe because it is the right thing to do.) | |
