| I signed up at 65 for benefits to paid and medicare. I would need to to to be 82 before I would receive more money than if I would have waited until I was 70 to start collecting the money.
If you wait to sign up for medicare after you are 65 I believe the penalty is 10% higher premium for each year you wait to enroll in medicare. Also, a lot of companies that provide good insurance require you to sign up for medicare at 65. |
