Make a point to remove that drywall and plastic or the wall will hold moisture and rot.
That is NOT what you want to do here and in most northern climates. The vapour barrier will prevent warm air from the inside moving into the wall, getting cold and condensing, and forming mould in your wall. Here you want a vapour barrier under the drywall, and then you pick external materials that will allow the wall to dry to the outside. |
