Top starting wage at my local co-op is $17 but existing employees make more due to annual wage increase. They've only managed to keep one new full time employee in the past few years mainly because the guy got married to a well paid teacher. Rotation of workers otherwise with the farmer having to drive tender truck if they want their field sprayed or fertilizer hauled.
