SW WI | No where does the OP say anything about $.....as in could use a little extra spending money or wife wants to earn for a special purchase.....so I’ll conclude it’s just for a social aspect.
Now, no way the OP can just blurt this out but why not a book club or wine night with friends and co workers. Seems like to OP is pressed for time but to carve out some time for him and the wife to do something together would be ideal. Maybe that’s what she really wants.....then again maybe she is about to put 1 foot out the door, already.

All I can say is try to communicate.....guys have a way of sticking their foot in their mouth, even when they had very good intentions.
Damn, I hate thinking the worst.....but does the OP need to make sure his assets are protected best he can, right now, just in case things go horribly wrong?
