Tuscola, IL | I have zero interest in comparing the amount of equipment I’ve purchased to what you’ve purchased or how many neighbors you’ve spoken with in the coffee shop. If that’s your goal, you can take it elsewhere.
Obviously, it’s not standard practice because, if this salesperson works for the dealer you’re ASSUMING he works for, then the term standard is out the window. Because that’s not how this salesperson performed the deal.
I’m not pretending to know more about any thing or any area. I’ve taken what happened and made recommendations that the OP and anyone else check their quote and be clear with their salesperson to avoid this exact situation. I simply disagree with your ‘it’s always the dealers fault and they always owe me something’ attitude. But, then again, with all that equipment you’re so vastly knowledgeable of, you’re the expert. Maybe you can use your influence to have the salesperson fired and the OP returned his GPS equipment cleaned, waxed and loaded with the latest firmware. | |
