E ND | In hindsight, it should be been discussed. In practice, if it's part of how the machine works and is bolted down, it's assumed it's going with the trade. I've had people both remove and give us the oddest things with their trades. Some guys throw in a manual and box of spare parts along with the grease gun and shovel. Some guys pick them clean and don't feel at all bad about it.
Even though you can run the equipment without the globe and monitor, the technology has become more and more to be considered necessary for the machine to do it's job and thus part of the base machine.
Tough situation for everyone, from the dealer's side I'd say if it was on the machine when appraised and you didn't specifically exclude it you probably owe them the equipment. I think in this case where you're trading colors it's even more so, likely assumed you didn't plan to run the Greenstar gear in the red one.
