North Central Illinois | First of all if it is not specified on the paperwork that the monitor and globe are included I guess you might technically be in the right. Most dealerships have gotten pretty detailed in how they spell out a trade just for that reason. If it was not spelled out this is partially on the salesman. Beyond that though with the equipment being in the machine when the salesman looked at it, you should have said "Oh hey, the monitor and globe aren't included". The salesman could have asked too. As someone else said, if you looked at a piece of equipment and agreed on a deal based off of that inspection, wouldn't you expect everything on the machine to be included unless otherwise specified? If it's not spelled out on the paperwork you might technically have a leg to stand on but I would have a hard time sleeping at night. | |
