Had my left hip replaced in 2015. I highly recommend you do your research and find a doctor that you are comfortable with that does the anterior approach for hip replacement. When they took me back to my room, they stopped at the door and told me to get off and walk to my bed. I could have gone home that day but my ride had already left. I wished I would have done it sooner.
