North Central Illinois | I haven't seen anything conclusive only speculative. China isn't saying anything about it which is no surprise. We do know there has been record rainfall and flooding and that reservoirs are full. There has been google earth maps and other things that purport to show the dam is failing. The accuracy of those photos has been called into question. During the construction of the dam and years following there were a lot of stories about supposed corruption and faulty construction. If I'm not mistaken I think there were some people imprisoned over it. So there you have it. Maybe, maybe not? Something to keep an eye on but I don't think failure is imminent. | |
