To answer you original question, Agco's yield monitor can do so many more things than aftermarket companies. When a Gleaner or Massey is going through the field, we are mapping things like speed, engine temp, engine load, engine oil pressure, concave clearance, and a bunch of other stuff the canbus system is supplying. Plus you can have these items all displayed on your color screen. If there was anyone but you running the combine, the benefits of this would be huge. For instance employee or relative said he never got over 3.5 mph picking corn in that field. You look at the yield map and see he was running 6.2 just before the snout hit the badger hole.
