I think one thing we have to be worried about is having to pay a sales tax on inputs.   I don't think they'd ever make us pay a full sales tax rate... but I certainly could see a reduced rate on inputs.  Just think of the increase of  1% on  feed ingrediants, chemicals, seed and fertilizer. Nothing we can do to stop it either.    If JB gets in  I think he'll get Madigan to pass the progressive income tax.   In a bad year it will help IL  farmers.  In good years  it will help Illinois.     And don't forget  we could be like Nebraska too.
