40k a year off farm. And a 4430 or 1086.


Up too 10 yrs. ago or so this was the normal way most every cash cropper farmed ,had a full time job until retirement/pension ,then just farmed......only past few yrs. that "young & old" thought they could rent xxxx acres and run new leased machinery and be a full time cash cropper---always took a job,livestock or side business for most too farm...good luck


Maybe in the Midwest or Canada but just about every farmer in the south of any kind of decent acreage farms full time and it’s always been that way
