Best thing you have going is you're not in debt. Number 1, don't lease any equipment. Number 2, buy old stuff and fix it. Number 3, be really timely. Number 4, don't mess around in the futures market. Lots of other Numbers which I am sure many will give to you. I also told a BBQ food truck guy how he should run his business the other day even though I can't BBQ nor have I ever run a food truck. So it's kind of what we do.
The best thing that could happen to you is occurring. The time to enter an industry is when no one else wants to. It's more difficult than it was 20 or 30 years ago to break in, so it sucks your route is not secure.
Purdue is a Cow School.... Marry a fat girl whose dad is a farmer, she'll appreciate you and you can have an in. Make sure she doesn't have brothers, preferably an only child. I had to say it before Bonpas or someone else did.
