Eastern Ont | Canadians are basically being taxed for having supply managed dairy and feather and it’s not minimal as you seem to allude to. It’s costing Canadians billions of extra dollars. It’s pure protectionism. So are you a pro free trader or not? So you must be supporting Trumps tariffs because he’s actually standing for the US steel industry...it’s protectionism too just like Canada’s dairy and feather. Bailouts for other farm industries are really non-existent over the years. Just more fake news generated by the dairy and feather lobby. They need to go especially if it’s a major stumbling block to a new NAFTA. | |
