sw ontario
Have you been to downtown Detroit --its coming back too life strong, seriously business moving back ,lots of shops/food ,casino's,Greektown , new major league hockey arena, football field, baseball stadium... We try if possible too cross through Detroit/Windsor tunnel (as I try not too give Matty Moroun any money if I can help it) and the transformation in last few years is great , sure it still as its run down areas ....finances are better ,getting 2 new International Bridge crossing.....Honkeytonk what area do you live in ? I am 30 miles East Detroit..... I really don't think any of us have a chance of being the winners on tariffs as its another gov't money grab...Now with new tariffs on things like US toilet paper, whiskey, ect. I expect border services will send us into customs each time we come home to pay duty,,,for last few yrs. if it was only $300 or so they waved you through....My wish is we were 1 country and US had a health care system comparable too ours (even though its socialized health care it runs on 50% less costs than US private system).....even the US tariff on softwood lumber is costing US house builders an average of $9,000 USD more too build...can't we just all get along?
