| Utility company is doing some work on our property. Right of way easements were pointed out and all was well, or so I thought.
We received lot's of rain this week and our ground is completely saturated. I came home today to find large boom utility trucks stuck in my field well outside of the utility easement and a track machine dragging them around.
Upon further inspection, at no point did they actually attempt to drive in the easement. It seems they just drove wherever they felt like. Now I have a rutted up field to contend with. Job foreman was sorry about my luck.
I'm pretty unhappy at this point. What price do you put on the damage done? It would have been different if the ground was dry. | |
