Yup . . .Pictures, pictures and more pic's, along with documentation, doc, and more doc's.

I would then talk with crew and ask to have them summon their supervisor.

I'd then involve the supervisor and if he is cocky or unsupportive, go on up the ladder to head REC Board.

Some of this younger generation just don't get it, when it comes to trespassing and land owner rights.

If they ask, that one thing - but the bottom line, they are on the hook regardless if permission was granted or not. If permission isn't granted up front, generally, that cost them more money in hind sight. It's all reflective in your rates and that needs to be pointed out to the Crew and supervisors and Board.
I help out our local utilities in any way I can - when they ask first. Even after the fact, if they are decent and admit fault.
