crowbar, what was your experience with the 7+ maturity beans?

We have a little ground similar to you guys, we call it "red jaw" that we need to rotate out of wheat for a year. Not going to plant milo with the way the +*&%# aphids were this year...we sprayed and they still worked us over. I could plant some sort of feed, but soybeans could fit the bill for both-if it doesn't rain we can bale them, if it does we can cut them.
