You didnt offend me one bit, I appreciate your and everyones comments so far. It tough finding people in our same situation, in some places you can buy all the bushels you want but here it usually dont matter what you spend if you dont get the rain...

Im going to pull some soil samples and see what they say just for fun but im probibly gonna skip it and just make up for it later on a crop that has better odds of producing bushels

Im located south of weatherford, 75 miles west of okc on I40. We farm mostly heavily terraced red dirt with some red shale, gip rock, and black tiger $ h! T gumbo. Sometimes all in the same field!!!

Have you looked inyo any of those arkansas rr1 beans that you can save seed from? Have a friend that did but I haven't talked him lately to ask how they did.
