The Delta | I don't guess I understand the purpose here? You aren't getting enough rent, have no problem renting ground out, but don't like big operators? These sortve correlate.
Find a good farmer, make him pay fair rent, maintain ditches and fertility and your good to go. It appears your from the south, about 30% of tenants will fit that mold. I can count the number of lime piles I've seen in the last several years, and this state surely needs it.
Edit cash rent isn't your best fit anyways, a 50/50 share would fit best if you kept a handle in farm economics. I expect even custom farming would workout for you, if you believe farming is lucrative still yet.
