Couple farms I know of still for rent for 2016. One is light ground 155 bu per acre corn extreme top if good rains, and no extreme heat. Still owner wants big time money. Beans at mid 40's on this ground doesn't work at today's prices. This land was rented for big money during the 4- 7 dollar corn period. Owner Isn't giving much from the highs!!
Either a farmer will pay and likely work for pennies or a loss, or the land lord will come to the realization that less rent is better than no rent. |
