southern MN | The kids have fishing, fair, hunting, school starting for the grand kids.... Their weekends are full, they have nothing out of loading this crap up for themselves, they ain't motivated at all. "Well not this week, maybe I or brother John will find some time next week, bye...." There is nothing for them but work and wasted time, and no deadline.
The elederly folks probably have good intentions but just not able, so as mentioned, the only way it happens is if you load it up and pull onto their property and unload it yourself; or you become the heavy bad guy and hassle them twice a week to get something done, get it done now, etc.
Meanwhile as someone else mentioned, you are gonna be deemed responsible for any damaged or stolen items - real or imaginary.
Just the worst possible setup all around, couldn't put oneself in a worst setup on this.
