I'm a retired lawyer in Texas now raising cattle, corn, cotton, wheat and grain sorghum.  Although not legal advice, if you like the couple I'd go see them and ask them where you can load up their stuff and take it.  If you don't like them, send them a bill for storage of their personal property at $25.00 per day, payable in advance.  ;-)
