Northern Kentucky | My wife and I finally closed on our own house and land last week. Got 55 acres about 1.5 miles from my parents and our main farm. This has been a while in the making. We bought a tract from a friend of mines Great Uncle. It has an old house and barn on it and the previous owners still have a lot of stuff in the barn. It was expressed at closing that they would need some time to move the rest of their things out and we said okay. We went to our new house this weekend to do some planning and measuring since it is a complete remodel. Decided to go look at the barn while we were there. Looks like nothing has been done since the first time we looked at the property 6 months ago. They have know about the closing for about 6 weeks. They had to have some land surveyed and a easement written is why it took so long. What would be a reasonable amount of time to give them to clear the barn out? | |
