I do.

I farm that ground conventionally...no till, actually. See, I'm diversified. And I don't feel the need to tear down other methods of farming. I see us farmers as a dying breed...a brethren of sorts....and I don't spend my day tearing down how others are doing it.

The organic market is there for ONE REASON. Not because a few (very few) farmers "bad mouth" chemical farming. But because the MARKET sees things in conventional ag they don't like or don't understand. And, as you see around here all the time, many farmers just don't care what the market tells them. They want to grow WHAT THEY WANT AND THE CONSUMER BETTER DAMB WELL LIKE IT OR STARVE!!

The thing is....we don't even grow enough organic corn in this country...we import much of it. So, see...the consumer doesn't have to take what you want to force feed them...they will just buy it elsewhere.

Boy there is so much IRONY in that post i dont even know where to begin.
