| Sprout our reason for the mega coulter instead of strip till is finding someone that's able to run it at harvest time.
We can usally get after-work / weekend guys to run it. But if they had to lay down straight rows and apply fertilizer it would take a more skilled operator and with the mega coulter a warm body in the seat will do.
Where we are we always know winters coming you just don't know when it will get here! So to shut down the combine after bean harvest to get the strips made is not an option HERE. | |
