Well thanks for the replies, I got my question answered.   I had planned on getting engaged when she finished school, but things went south before that happened.  I know that Im the odd man out, I know it sounds like I don't want a serious committed relationship and that Im just the worst kind of person for "leading her on" but that couldn't be farther from the truth, I wanted to wake up to her everyday, raise a family, and grow old together. I did my best to let her know all of this, but in the end she made the choice to stop trying at our relationship. 

What Ive learned from this is that I should just keep that particular thing to myself. Its too hard for anyone but me to fully understand and comprehend. Thanks everyone.
