Molasses cookies. The wife of the old gentleman my dad farmed with back in the '70s made the very best. I think her recipe went to the grave with her. My wife recently tried a recipe from the rural electric magazine we get and I would say they were as close to her cookies as can be. I was more than 30 years between GOOD molasses cookies.
