Amherst WI		I miss my dad's moms cooking.

Her fried chicken was the best and I can't figure out how to make it. She pan fried it then finished it in the oven.

Her potato doughnuts were also excellent, these I can get pretty close.

Corn casserole, home made dinner rolls were good and dofonees (doo fon ees). They were fried dough rolled in cinnamon sugar.

She also made her pan cakes with bacon grease. These I can get pretty close too.
