West of Broken Bow | A close friend passed away a few years ago and I always raised a big garden and would share vegetables and fruit with he and his wife. Their health had deteriorated to where they could no longer have gardens and it meant a lot to them to have fresh produce. I have always loved fried okra, but had never had okra patties until they shared their recipe with me.
If I have time to raise a garden this year, I hope to plant lots of okra for some more patties. Sure are good. | |
