High Springs, Florida

I missed my mother's spaghetti and meatballs. She would start them on Friday afternoon, for Saturday night's dinner. Sauce was made from our own canned tomatoes and the meatballs were put in the sauce raw, and they cooked for about 36 hours. Boy were those good! Tasted even better on the third day!

Her tuna casserole and scalloped potatoes were to die for, as well. Everything she made was from scratch and great tasting.

She also made a tomato vegetable beef soup, that I have not been able to duplicate yet.
