East Central, NE | I'm beginning to think that the only way things will change is from a total reset of all government and start over. The disease of "more" and spend, spend, spend has trickled down from the federal level all the way down to the local level. The majority of people don't care because they don't have any skin in the game. My dad was on our local school board in the 90's and would come home so angry and frustrated about out of control spending so he finally quit.
Around here anymore, the outspoken guys that would do well on boards don't get elected. | |
