Sac & Story county IA | That is sure the field we have been plowing time and again for the last 30 years. A school is declining by 1 - 2 - 3 percent per year for most of 40 years, it just doesn't work. But having a district that has bus routes greater than an hour twice a day isn't palatable either. Plenty of things to blame, pick some. Farm debt in the '80s, big machinery, birth control pills, loss of independent hog producers, factories moving out of country, Amazon shopping.
As to Nebraska, do some studying on how much per student is spent at Millard South. That number will leave you breathless. | |
