Ohio | The house that is half on your property , is yours at your price . If I ever heard of a transaction that was begging for a lawyers advice , this is it . When the owner of that house is contacted by your attorney telling them they can't sell a property with out clearing this up , they are dead in the water . You need a lawyer to stop the sale and protect your interest , which lays under his home . Also others may disagree , but you need to do this yesterday . They will try to take your ground if you don't stand up to them . Other posters that have fought this will set me straight , but if you strike first , hopefully you will be better able to defend your rights .
