Amherst WI | I agree on the equity builder part but a mobile home is a loser right away. I'm happy if my home will stay flat in value, maintaing value in a mobile home is like trying to fill a water tank with a garden hose with a 2" banjo valve open.
Our first place was a mobile home, it was only 10 years old so it was nice yet. In the 4 years we owned it, it lost 1/3 of its value or $26000. By the time we paid taxes, intrest and insurance we could have stayed renting for less.
I will never recomend a mobile home no matter the situation.
Look into a stick built home, from what we seen there wasn't much difference in price over a manufactured home. | |
