North Central Illinois | Can't say the same here. I have never made so much money as what I have the last seven years. Did I make some money when corn was $2.50? Yes. Did I make anywhere what I have in the last seven years? Heck no! My taxes seem to reflect it as well. If corn would have stayed in the $3 to $4 range you would have seen rents at $300 or more. Cash rents weren't going to stay the same for $3.50 corn as they would have for $2.50 corn. That just isn't how it works. | |
