Starbuck Manitoba Canada | If grain prices were to stay high it would hurt the young farmer in that he/she becomes complacent and does not learn how to produce a great crop. Back in the 70's when a lot of young guys were getting started, it was easy to make money with high prices and low expenses. They never learned to farm properly. It was to easy to make money, and they spent what they did make freely. Those young farmers did not make it to 1980. A little hurt is humbling but good every once in a while. | |
