at first I thought you were being sarcastic.
2012 was the only year I ever felt insurance was a good thing to have. Long term it is a loser. Just protects against that one catastrophic year. Being self insured would do the same thing as long as you didn't start off with a drought. My opinion,
I've always carried insurance.... and I see your point, but for a younger farmer trying to expand through bought/rented ground I Dont see how that s really feasible. I can see an older farmer with more paid for ground them rented ground getting by with that.... |
