Central Illinois | environment I can't imagine a farmer not having a rudimentary knowledge of risk management and your options. While crop insurance isn't a must, it would seem to me that any farmer should know how it works, so that if it fit his operation, it could be used as a risk management tool.
Not just for insurance, and no disrespect to anyone's father, I think it fair to question how dad or grandpa did things. It probably was the best in their day, but things do change. | |
