The field will be appraised before it is cut for silage. Crop insurance is for the grain. If the field is appriased at 30 bu. / acre and you are guarunteed 100 bu./ a. then they subtract 30 from 100 and pay you for 70 and you can do whatever you want after that. Seems fair to me.
This just doesn't seem right to me....
