Sunnyside, WA | I have read no replies, but I harvest corn silage for the grain content. If it has no grain, then the value is way down in my opinion. The insurance is paying you for the grain you are missing, and you will need that money to buy corn to replace what was missing in the silage.
If you want to do the same, buy some livestock and feed them corn silage. You have every right to get in the livestock business. | |
