It has been my experience that a PC is less expense than a MAC. If you are willing to learn a few simple concepts much of the expense some experience using PC's can be avoided. So much of the vulnerability of MS products to cyber-corruption is simply avoided by integral settings made if knowledgeable during the intial boot process.
