| I have never heard of a heated floor where you didn't insulate under the floor. Putting insulation under the floor is way more important than around the perimeter. Way more square footage for heat loss under the floor than around the perimeter.
I do not know of a real nice way to insulate the perimeter on a pole barn. Putting down a foundation is best for a heated floor but also much more expensive. | |
